River & Rowing Museum

New museum

To develop a new museum celebrating the international sport of rowing, the history of Henley on Thames and the story of the River Thames

Our Approach
Having space planned the galleries within the David Chipperfield Architects building we suspended the museums unrivalled collection of historic rowing boats using a bespoke system allowing future change, used the longest gallery to tell themed content about the Thames from source to sea and crossed over a bridge to display Henley’s town and social history.

Completed as Land Design Studio.
